We have recently been funded by the NCRR to create monoclonal antibodies against a variety of subcellular markers for the C. elegans community. We proposed to make monoclonals against sixty different targets over a three-year period. Most of the planned targets are either proteins that mark specific subcellular domains or organelles, or basic components of the cellular machinery. In addition, we will make monoclonals directed against targets proposed by the community. Members of the worm community can provide valuable input to this project by providing reagents or testing monoclonals. We encourage you to participate in this project.
